As a little girl, raised an only child by entrepreneurs who were too busy to notice me, I realized quickly the love of art and photography. After working 30 years in mental health, I really have an extra keen awareness of capturing emotions on people’s faces whether with my own eyes and instincts or the camera’s lens. However, I also love all types of photography. I also often paint the photos to help protect the identity of the faces I photograph of random people around the world. My art is more like my thoughts – similar to my idol Frida Kahlo. My art is very metaphorical and symbolic. Thank you for stopping by.
P.S. As an adoptee who has found over 400 biological relatives including siblings. However my parents were both deceased before I could meet them so, to help me heal from the adoptive trauma, I use my biological mother’s last name for my art because she was an established artist. I then use my biological father’s last name for my photography because he appreciated memories on film.
